We hope you are delighted with your Michaela Buerger purchase.
Each piece is made with care and intention, but if for any reason you are not fully satisfied, you may return your order under the conditions below.

Made-to-Order Items
Most of our knits are made to order, crafted by hand after each purchase.
As such, they are considered custom-made products under Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code and are therefore not eligible for return or refund.
However, if your piece doesn’t fit perfectly, we offer exchanges from our small reserve of extra knits, created solely for this purpose, a more personal and sustainable alternative to overproduction.

Ready-to-Ship Items
Certain items (for example, pieces available from our reserve stock) are available immediately.
These items are shipped within 3 to 5 working days after purchase and may be returned within 14 days of receipt, in accordance with French and European consumer law.
Items must be returned in their original condition, unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags and packaging.

Sale Items
Products purchased on sale are also eligible for return within 14 days, following the same conditions as full-price items.

How to Return
1. Contact us at eshop@michaelabuerger.com with your order number to request a return authorization.
2. Pack the item securely in its original packaging.
3. Ship the parcel to the return address provided by our customer service team.

Return Costs
Within the EU: Returns are at the customer’s expense, unless the item was faulty.
Outside the EU: Returns must be sent DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). Any customs fees incurred upon return will be deducted from the refund.

Refunds
Once the return has been received and inspected, we will process your refund within 14 working days.
Refunds will be made to the original method of payment.
Shipping costs and import duties (if any) are non-refundable.
Naturally, if an item arrives faulty or not as described, it remains eligible for repair, exchange, or refund under the "garantie légale de conformité".
