CUTTER BROOKS x MICHAELA BUERGER - Holiday Knits

This is the third holiday season we have been collaborating with Cutter Brooks on a unique Christmas knitwear collection. I love working with Amanda for her creative, English countryside-inspired input, which I love to cross with my Austrian heritage, which is personal to me and my life story. I have admired Amanda for years; I read all her books, and she is an inspiration in style and a woman entrepreneur and leader.
Each year we work on an idea together to conceive the design, choose the yarn, select the colors, and plan the shapes.
I always make the first sample of every new style myself. Once we have fine-tuned the knitting plan, I am sourcing collectives of women from areas where knitting is a traditional part of the culture to carry out the production. This year's styles are lovingly hand-knitted by women in Romania.
